Kings Park, Stirling
King's Park is one Scotland oldest Royal Parks, originally used as a hunting ground for the Royal Court at Stirling Castle. Sited below the castle, it has facilities for everyone. A children's playground, skate park and lovely walks around the adjacent golf course. Did we forget the cafe for lovely coffee?
Pavilion Cafe
We are so lucky to have this cafe on site within Kings Park.

The Pavilion, originally used as a changing room by tennis players, was tastefully converted into a cafe a few years ago.

It is open for breakfast (the best bacon rolls in Stirling!!) and lunch, it serves coffee, teas and lunchtime snacks.

The cafe also hosts popular evening pop up events such as pizza evenings, BBQs and cocktail nights.

Opening hours:

Children's Playground
The playground is great fun for kids of all ages. It includes a swings, climbing frames, slides, bridges and a tyre swing.

It includes equipment for inclusive play, partly funded by Friends of Kings Park.
Skatepark
Our skate park is very popular with both children and young adults. Described by www.skateparks.co.uk as "well designed and laid out to make good use of the space and is a great place for beginners and experienced skaters alike".
Peace of Mind Garden
In the Peace of Mind Garden, you will find a tranquil space where you can wander around the plants or sit on benches and contemplate life. The garden was constructed in the early 2000s with funding from a variety of charities and organisations. It is located next to the children's play area, but is only visuible from the main park by the tall, black pergola that stands above the hedge. The garden includes some interesting exhibits for small children, e.g. a metamorphosis panel and a butterfly panel. Due to lack of maintenance during the pandemic, the garden now needs considerable work which is being carried out by Friends of Kings Park. See our recent progress, which we are very proud of, here.
